Avinash Bhagat

FOUNDER - DIRECTOR JUNGLEHIKE

He is a quiet, young, dynamic and acclaimed passionate bird watcher. A Commerce student, he began at a very young age rescuing birds, mammals and reptiles. This led him to work with the Animal Welfare Organization that dealt with rescue of wild and domestic animals. His first love being birds, he began Junglehike his own enterprise in 2013 and has been arranging birding, safaris, herpetofauna and flora trips all over India. He has steadfastly and regularly conducted trails, seminars and workshops for school children, college students, general public and corporates. He covers different types of habitats and studies flora especially orchids and the endangered flower species called Ceropegias. He is a good photographer and has had his work published in renowned magazines like Sanctuary Asia, Saevus, Buceros and Mistnet. He has won many awards and has been felicitated by the then Minister of Environment Smt. Maneka Gandhi for his contribution in Animal Welfare. He is associated with many NGOs like OREKA Foundation and OWLS He is a freelance writer who regularly writes articles on biodiversity. With Junglehike, his dream is to bridge the gap and bring the people closer to Nature and see the wonderful mystery and create a love which will help in conserving it for the future generations to come.

Pravin Vinayak Vishe

Works as an Office Administrator. He has been studying reptiles, flora since 2006. He started birding since 2012. Based in Murbad his knowledge on native indigenous plant species is commendable. He works closely with the Forest Department. His presence at Junglehike is really appreciated.

Dr. Mrs. Shubhda Nikhil Savant

Assistant Professor in Zoology. A wildlife enthusiast, naturalist by passion and strongly believes in conservation of Nature and natural resources.Birding since 7years. Her love for photography and documentation of Biodiversity and it's study, estimation of diversity, EIA study is something she is excels in. She has been associated with Junglehike right from its inception.

Sushant More

A student of MSc Is passionate about flora. He is into birding and in the field of Botany since 8 years. He specialises in orchids, ceropegia and other wild flora. His knowledge on flora is so vast that he has done many projects of surveys of botanical EIA and also has an enviable collection of rare herbariums.

Hemant N Ware

Civil engineer by profession. He is a die hard Herpetologist. He is passionately pursuing herpetology since 5 years. His speciality are night trails in the rain soaked forests, where he showcases the thrilling adventurous aspect of mother nature.
